Last year, I was lucky enough to visit Costa Rica as part of my university course. Unfortunately, there was no opportunity to wet a line (sigh), but having seen some of the species there, as well as witnessing a marlin jump close to our boat, it has certainly been put on my list of future fishing destinations. The variety of fishing on offer is staggering! The country is home to many popular game species, including some of my personal favourites such as roosterfish and tarpon.
I can confirm that Costa Rica is one awesome place to visit!
